Massage Therapy On-site PDF Print E-mail

Stress and tension-reduced employees are more productive and happier in their jobs. Massage therapy at work makes good business "cents" as it:

  • relieves stress and tension
  • increases productivity and mental clarity
  • boosts employee morale
  • reduces down-time by eliminating the need for employees to travel to clinics to receive care
  • decreases risk of repetititve strain and muscle overload.

 How On-site Massage Works

Your massage program can be set up in a variety of ways. Whether a weekly occurence or a "thank you" for seasonal overtime or extraordinary discretionary effort, we can design a program to fit your company's needs and budget.

Types of On-site Massage Therapy

  • Chair Massage - Employees are seated in a specially designed chair, fully clothed, which allows the therapist to work on the common problem areas of today's workers. Typically 10-minute, 15-minute or 20-minute sessions. Receipts can be provided if the employee is paying for their massage.
  • Roaming Massage - A call centre favourite! The therapist "roams" from desk-to-desk providing mini-massages. Typically 5-minutes per person - no reciepts.
  • Table Massage -  Whether established in a meeting room or a permanent onsite treatment room, our therapists can provide regular, therapeutic massages using their portable massage tables. Pre-booked 30-minute or 60-minute treatments are available (employees choose whether they are unclothed or clothed). Receipts provided if the employee is paying for their massage.

Studies show that convenient access to paramedical services at the workplace significantly reduce absenteeism and lost productivity (from the employees travel time to/from offsite appointments). We can help facilitate the hosting of regular or event-specific services, many of which can be self-funding and reimbursed via health benefits plans coverage.
